[vlc] forcing subtitles / merging subtitles into video stream

hi all,

i have a dvd in spanish and need to force subtitles into the video
stream for clients that cannot pick out the subtitle ES in a PS ...

is this possible ??

given the issue in vlc where it is _not_ possible to select which
elementary streams you want ...
