Hi guys,

I'm having some trouble with VLC streaming here. I'm streaming a video from Windows Server 2003. The streaming part was okay til the video ended, it was suppose to close the vlc player after the video is finished. However, it doesn't seem to work. I've tried running the command on my local pc(Video file is stored locally, *not streaming from server) and it works.

I'm using Windows Server 2003 as a Video server and over at the user end, I'm using Fedora core 6 as the platform and VLC media player 0.8.6a to view the video.

The commands that I've used is:

For testing on local pc:

vlc -I dummy --fullscreen --key-quit='ESC' --volume=30 /root/Desktop/trailer3.wmv vlc:quit

For streaming from server:

vlc -I dummy --fullscreen --key-quit='ESC' --volume=30 mms://164.78.257.23/trailer3.wmv vlc:quit

Has anyone encountered this problem before? Is there anything that can resolve this?

Please advice. Thanks in advance.

Best Regards,
Adrian
