[vlc] vlc buffering problem ??

Hi VLC Team,

there ist a strange behavior from VLC playing Streaming media:
The time ticker starts about 5 or 6 seconds before the video
appears on the screen. If you use the Mozilla embedded player the video
ends 5 to 6 sec. to early. I've veryfied this behavior on Windows XP,
Windows Vista (32 and 64 bit), Mac OS 10.4.x , Linux (suse, ubuntu)
and Firefox 2.0.x and VLC 0.86c.

To verify this you can use our Mediathek Portal : www.zdf.de/ZDFmediathek.
There is a lot of Video material in Windows Media and Quicktime/h.264 format.

Is there any work around to fix this ?
