[vlc] parameters in x264 module

Dear all,

when i see the API documentation of VLC on 
http://www.videolan.org/developers/vlc/doc/doxygen/html/, the x264 
module contains pass and stats parameters for multi pass H264 encoding. 
But i have got source code of VLC 0.8.6i and i haven't  seen  these  
parameters. In which version VLC contains these parameters ?

I also want to know if it is possible to add parameters, in the x264 
module, to set quant matrices.

Please help me.
