Full screen does work - the problem is that when
VLC is on the right hand screen and you go fullscreen
the picture jumps to the left hand screen ( in fullscreen)

You can get around it by selecting tools/preferemnces
and unchecking Integrate video in interface but everytime
you go to a new chapter it jumps back to the left hand screen

best wishes

If you right-click in vlc, you'll get a menu. "Fullscreen" is in there
somewhere... in 0.8.X it was directly on that menu. I tried 0.9.2, and
it had been moved to a sub-menu, so you may need to hunt for it. But
  that's how I do it.
