[vlc] Java Video Streaming client

Hi,

I'm pretty new to Streaming, I need to create a Java client to read video
streaming (potentially several source concurrently), and display that on a
web page.

Could someone help me figure out if JVLC is well suited for that purpose?
Any indication on which direction to choose is more than welcome!
