[vlc] Request for information

 Sir: This morning I installed the VLC Media Player on my computer but it does not work.   First I open the VLC Media Player and then I place the DVD on the tray and into the computer, but instead the default media player Power Cinema comes on and the movie starts with it.  What could be the cause of this?    Do you have any information? Any help you wish to send will be appreciated.    Thanks.
