[vlc] Video but no audio

Blind guesses, try

   - latest version 8.6h
   - if audio is audible from other programs
   - changing output to defaults
   - toggling mute from windows volume control
   - increasing VLC sound to 400%
   - with a separate media file
   - different installation of VLC
   - mono, stereo and other options
   - switch to left / right speakers
   - selecting different number of speakers
