[vlc] problems with the bookmarks

If I am looking with VLC an mpg.film I can set bookmarks and save the 
list under
list.m3u.
After closing the film and restart it again, the bookmarks are gone and
this though I can find them in the m3u-file with an editor.
Version: 0.86d
Who can help me?
