[vlc] Latest version detail

Dear Sir/Madam,

I just want to ask you that which is the latest version of vlc media player, currently I am using Vlc media player 1.0.2 Goldeneye also the version was compiled by jb at sasmira.. italso says Compiler: gcc version 4.2.1-sjlj (mingw 32-2) also says You are using the QT4 Interface.

If there is a latest version please do let me know about the same with the link to download the same.
