[vlc] dvd playback problem

hi there

i love VLC but recently im having trouble watching whole dvds

the program exits itself randomly during dvds

iv checked a few dvds and its at different points for each dvd

however, its the same point when i retry the same disc

it just closes and i have to reopen the program and skip to after the time that it exits or it does it again!

iv tryed uninstalling and reinstalling, please help cause the other dvd programs suck :(
