What did you do!!!??? I downloaded VLC 0.9.8a and it is useless! 
- It takes forever to launch
- when it does launch streaming video is choppy or freezes 
- the interface is now totally un-intuitive, 

-- I'm switching back to VLC 0.8.6 or something else and hope you guys get your act together again. You used to make a good program!!
