[vlc] Region 2issue

Hi There,

I have been having poblems getting VLC player to play region 2 DVDs. I 
have iMac Intel, and the region is now set at 1. It plays 1 region DVDs 
fine.

But when I insert a region 2 DVD, it will read the title, but then stop 
playing after 3 seconds. I have tried reinstalling and deleting prefs, 
but no luck.

I have seen that this may be a known issue on the forum.

Can you suggest any workarounds?
