[vlc] Safari Issue

Dear SIr/Madam

I am trying to install the web plugin for Safari on my macbook pro but  
everytime I install the plugin, it does not actually install anything  
to the 'plugin folder' of safari. Hence, VLC web plugin is not  
working. I don't know where the plugin is being installed to because  
the only option that I can choose in the section 'Where to Install to'  
is Macintosh HD which should work, but it is not. Please advise.
