[vlc] Version 1.0.2 of VLC

Dear sirs
Certain files with DTS and .wav file do not play the first track properly (a 
piercing noise). The remaider play perfectly. Havr I got a preference set 
wrong?

I tried defaults settings with the same result. Also, version 9.9.8 plays 
file fine.

Please help???
