[vlc] MPEG-2 Transport Stream

HI all,
         I am very new to MPEG-2 , even in multimedia.I need to develop
MPEG-2 TS demultiplexer and depackatizer.My input is MPEG-2 Transport Stream
and output should be audio elementary stream and video elementry stream.Can
any one please suggest me how to get reference code for this.Is there any
open source code for this.
