[vlc] Unplayable DVD

Hello,

I'm using the latest version of VLC, 1.1.5 on a PC running Vista 
6.0.6002 SP2 with a Core 2 quad at 2.4GHz. Standard HP TSST DVD drive 
TS-H653N. I have tried two copies of the movie Ultraviolet, both with 
nearly flawless surfaces, and neither will play. After a minute or so of 
play, the video will skip back to the credits, freeze for a moment, and 
start over. This happens with earlier versions of VLC as well. Next 
step, please?
