[vlc] Android

Android == Java-based platform.
VLC == Software developed in C

Thus, it will probably be a long time, if ever, that VLC will come to
Android.
It is possible, but would take a lot of work, and would be pretty much out
of the question for apps distributed through the app marketplace (Those all
need to be pure java, as far as I know).
