[vlc] Mediaplayer

Dear reader,

Normaly my monitor turns off after three minutes (Energie saving) and not using the PC,
but after using VLC mediaplayer (1.0.2) the monitor does not do that anymore !!
After a restart and not using VLC it works as I prefer (the monitor turns off when I have not
used de PC for three minutes.
Can you solve this ?
