[vlc] install problem

I am trying to load VLC 1.1 and cannot install the player.  
Version 1.1 removed my older VLC player version and will not complete its install.  
I am guessing the problem may be that the license agreement states that I must select "I agree" but there is no "I Agree" selection or button to click on. Now I do not have a player at all. Please help solve this problem.
