[vlc] VLC 1.1.0

Hello,  
   
I use VLC for a long time without any complains. Until the latest 1.1.0 version. On my dektop it works perfectly, but on my (school)laptop it gives me a Runtime error! I installed and uninstalled it several times, but it keeps coming. Any idea how I can solve this problem?
