Hello,
I think there may be a bug in VLC Media Player 1.1.0
Every time I try to open with VLC Media Player any home-made audio CD containing only .mp3 files, VLC immediately crashes without any error message. On restarting VLC it recognises that it has crashed and asks whether I want to send a bug report to the developers team.
To try to open an audio CD, I do this from within VLC:
Media -> Open Disc -> Disc (tab) -> <Select 'Audio CD' and appropriate device> -> Play
VLC then immediately crashes under Windows 7 Ultimate Media Center Edition. I can easily reproduce this.
Some of my hardware is:
CPU Type Intel Pentium 4, 3000 MHz (Prescott)
Instruction Set x86, MMX, SSE, SSE2, SSE3
Motherboard Intel Bay Field D865GBF
Optical Drive TSSTcorp DVD-ROM TS-H352A ATA Device (16x/48x DVD-ROM)
Speakers SoundMAX Integrated Digital Audio [cheap stereo speakers]
DirectX 4.09.00.0904 (DirectX 9.0c)
If you need any further information, please ask.
