[vlc] problems with v1.1

Over the years, I've enjoyed and used your product.

The current version -- v1.1.0 -- has given me problems, though...
...if I pause for any length of time (overnight or 30 min), the program "crashes".

I "send" the report to developers -- hopefully that will help future version development.

In the meantime, I'm going to go back to v1.0.5

I'll provide any other info, if needed.
