[vlc] About vlc media player 1.1.0

Hi 
I am using vlc media player since 2003 when I had purchased my first computer. This is very nice media player for any kind of video file format. Thank very much for providing such a nice media player for free. 
Recently I had downloaded your next version of vlc media player 1.1.0. But this version has some kind of file extraction problem. I am unable to install it. please repair it.
