[vlc] TV Screen On Snow Leopard

Hi,

I have my Black Macbook running Snow Leopard connect to my TV screen. VLC plays back video choppy. It was not like this under Leopard. Do you know of this problem? Is there a solution? I have read other peoples' similar problems here:

This problem does not occur with Quicktime + Perian
