[vlc] Video Window Sizing

I've been using VLC player for years and pleased with its high performances.
If I may ask, could you please advise me on how I can set the window size,
say, 50% of the normal and keep it as it is, so that I can enjoy any video file
in a half size any time.  Currently a full-high vision size is quite common and
a half-size is just favorable to me.

I will appreciate your reply on this subject.
