[vlc] piracy on VLC media player

I'm a user of your product since a long time ago and this week I
needed to download it on a new pc.
I was really surprise to find this site on top of google :
Vlc-mediaplayer-be.com
after the download and the lauch of a small executable called
install_vlc.exe, you are asked to send a sms to a number (3070 :
belgian or french?) in order to get an activation code. (cost 2€)
there is also a reference to fr at allbrowsers.com (in forums this site
is related to malware)
it's a shame that somebody is making money on an open source product
