[vlc] No Video

1) open Messages log window in VLC - there probably are some errors there
2) try in VLC preferences select different providers of Video Output.  
Direct Draw, Dirwect 3D,  OpenGL, etc.
3) try to turn off Direct X VA (hardware video acceleration)

Win7 x64 - plays okay.
