[vlc] playlist track delete?

[FSK1138]

Hello - i am a long time user of VLC
i have noticed ver1.0.5 goldeneye  under winxp sp3
you can not delete more than one file at a time from the play-list ..??

  i used to be able to build  a play-list by dragging a bunch of random  
file to the play-list
  than deleting the one i did not want by selecting them and pressing 
delete
now the delete key does not  do anything ???
and i have to right click  and select delete from the drop down  menu  ...
this really-- really sucks---

has this issue been addressed?
