[vlc] recording

Dear Vic,

 

I just installed the latest version of VideoLAN.  I am trying to record a
short clip from a DVD.  I selected "Open Capture Device" and clicked the
"Capture Device" tab.  Which Capture Mode do I choose, and what do I do
next?  I couldn't find anything in the Wiki or KnowledgeBase that explains
this.

 

Please advise.
