Hi all,

I'm trying to do video streaming and test the effects of jitter in video
quality.

If I select udp for streming a video *vlc myvideo.mkv --sout
"#duplicate{dst=std{access=udp,dst=192.168.1.255:1234}}"* and I execute on
a client pc :* **vlc udp://@:1234* for example to open the stream :* *what
is the default de-jitter buffer on the client pc ??

If I wanted to change the buffer size, would I have to add an option like
this : *vlc udp://@:1234 --udp-caching=<time in ms>* ?

I also noticed that udp and rtp are two different options for streaming ?
What are the differeces between them?
Isn't rtp used with udp anyway ?

Thanks.
