[vlc] video editing

Dear VLC Team, 
 
I was wondering how I could save a video after I have used the synchronization effects, and video effects? I have looked everywhere online, and have tried using your record option- but that only records the original video wthout the effects?
I use a PC and have a standard version of VLC.
