Does VLC open data connection via IP4 or IP6 to your server ? 
to Cerberus server ?

If not, does it attempt at making it on client computer? 
Does server get incoming IP6 or IP4 connection request on server computer ?

Maybe FTP command log between VLC and Cerberus to compare ?
