[vlc] vlm vod problem outside server

Hi all,
  I'm Walter and I'm new in vlc stream server...

I've to set up a very simple video/audo streamming server for copyright 
problem....

so I thought to vlc...

I installed in my server (ubuntu 10.04 ip 91.121.146.53) vlc 1.1.11 and  
a built a vm conf file like that:

new ClaudioRemondi_RiccardoCaporossi_vid009.mpg vod enabled
setup ClaudioRemondi_RiccardoCaporossi_vid009.mpg input 
"file:///path/to/video/ClaudioRemondi_RiccardoCaporossi_vid009.mpg"

new RubiDalma_VittorioDeSica_vid001.mpg vod enabled
setup RubiDalma_VittorioDeSica_vid001.mpg input 
"file:///path/to/video/RubiDalma_VittorioDeSica_vid001.mpg"

...

without transcoding actions..

after I started the server:

vlc --ttl 255 -vvv --vlm-conf /path/to/conf.vlm --color -I telnet 
--telnet-password videolan --telnet-host 127.0.0.1 --telnet-port 4212 
--rtsp-host 0.0.0.0:5554

now if I trye the server with vlc and7or mplayer in localhost all work 
correctly... but no if I try by my client desktop vlc o mplayer on my 
desktop...

no firewall.... activated....

Someone had similar problem... ?
any idea about??
