[vlc] sout syntax

Hi,

The help message says for sout:

--sout=<string>            Default stream output chain
          You can enter here a default stream output chain. Refer to the
          documentation to learn how to build such chains. Warning: this
chain
          will be enabled for all streams

Can you please tell me where to find the documentation that can help me to
build an output chain and give the syntax?
