Hi

I need to build a DVB stream server based on debian and VLC ..
my simple question is : HOW TO DO IT ?

i need to do the following :

Plan A:
1- The source :  DVB encrypted channels by a DVB-SAT card ( USB or PCI ) ..
2- stream a transponder ( or multi channels ) to local network ..
3- the stream should be : multicast and adjustable bit-rate ..

is there any documentation for such task ? any detailed procedure ?

in case of any difficulties to accomplish plan A .. her is Plan B

1- The source Analog A/V input ..
2- converted by DVD-Maker 2 USB ..
3- Multicast stream (adjustable bit-rate) to local network via VLC ( Debian )..
4- No of channels 2-4 channels ..

can you help me please to do this ??
