[vlc] 1.1.6 will not install

I just tried to update my vlc and will not install.  I get:

Error opening file for writing:

C;\Program Files\VideoLAN\vlc.exe

Click Abort to stop the installlation,
Retry to try again, or
Ignore to skip this file.

1.1.5 worked just file on my comp.  So, is there something wrong with the
.exe?
