[vlc] moving VLC videos to ipod nano

I don't know if the following will be of any help, but I found that MP4 files come at different compression rates.
I then downloaded a free app called Redux Encoder (http://www.easelnet.net/), (I am not a shareholder !) where you just slide your video
into the window, and then choose your output device etc.
