[vlc] Re. Vlc /Volume question

Hello .. my name is Daniel  
I have been  using your Vlc player  & its  great. 
I need help with the volume on exit on my files.
When I set up the volume  I go to 
tools.   preferences.. ..audio  and then   set up the volume there.. by saving 
it and then exit.    However... all other files I have,  when I open them.  have 
the same  volume that the last one I st up .
So question is...how  do I set up a different  volume  for each diffent 
file/video  that I have.???
Your help will be much appreciated.
