[vlc] vlc-2.0

Hi guys,

My first post ever here.

In vlc-1.1.11 there was this option of Direct3D Desktop Mode, which has
suddenly went away in vlc-2.0.

Can someone tell me why this is so? I am not loving vlc-2.0 because of this
missing feature, but perhaps there is something better than it which I
haven't discovered??
