Hello VLC Media Player,
I have written a very unique computer book, that has a very large chapter devoted entirely to downloading YouTube and other Flash videos. After that chapter, I devote an entire chapter in the book to VLC media player (Chapter 14, starting on page 787). After evaluating every known media player out there, I felt that VLC was head and shoulders above the crowd.  I tell readers that no computer is complete without a top-notch media player, whether the goal is for education or for entertainment. Thank you for your wonderful and amazing Media Player, which I literally use on a daily basis.

The book is entitled
"Timeless, Essential Computer Tools and Concepts" by Al Nathan
(964 pages, 8.5 by 11 inch pages)

This is a unique book, in terms of its teaching style, raw honesty, unique approach to computing for the average user, and sarcasm-tinged humor. The target audience is intelligent people that are overwhelmed by technology, who appreciate an understandable and honest approach that does not speak down to them. The writing style is clear, with large, easy to read fonts, and 600 large screenshot illustrations. In addition, the book is easy on the eyes, being printed on large 8.5 by 11 inch pages.

I have created a website to support the book, which can be found at :

                   http://www.2thepointhonestly.com/

In line with my approach of being totally honest, I have placed large sections of the book online for all to see in a large and clear display. Seven entire sections of the book (including Contents at a Glance, Full TOC, Full Chapter 1, and the Index) can be found here:

The book is now available for sale on Amazon.com
 http://www.amazon.com/gp/product/098399790X

Thank you for taking the time from your hectic workload to read my letter. Please know that the book is intended to be revised frequently, which as an independent author I am free to do at will. If there are other products from your company, or elements of the program that you feel need to be covered, I would welcome your input, so that changes can be made to future editions.

Best Regards,
Al Nathan
