[vlc] Trouble using VLC

I am a VLC user for about 3 years now. I recently installed the latest
version : 2.0.4. I installed the latest driver for my graphics card
: Nvidia 9400GT 512 MB 128-bit. Now I am experiencing glitches in all the
videos I play in VLC. I played the same videos in other media players and
it worked just fine. I want to ask you if this is due to a problem or bug
in VLC or my new video card driver? Since i Can play the videos without any
glitches in other media players, I think it might have something to do with
VLC. Please could you help me with this.
