Go in the right directory (/usr/src/DVB-0.9.4/driver) of the linux DVB
driver, and type :

# patch -p1 <  DVB-0.9.4-vls-dvbs-1.patch 

(I don't remember exactly in which directory you have to be)

*However*, I think this patch is obsolete, and I advise you to use the
latest cvs version of vls, which supports the latest DVB driver.
