x264_param_parse() does not support the slice options, so one is unable
to set these options with mencoder.

See the attached patch, which can be applied on top of x264 (git from
today) plus 0001-Add-multisliced-encoding-support.patch.

As an aside, so long as lavc only supports slice-level parallelization
(the foreseeable future), this patch is quite important for especially
1080p content.
