We do, but only for the development version of Fedora. It is possible to
install it for F8, but it's not trivial, because many packages depend on
x264 (mencoder, ffmpeg, avidemux, gpac), so apart from building a new x264
rpm, you'd have to rebuild any dependent apps that you have installed. But
if you're up to it, then get the source rpm from livna-devel:
http://livna-dl.reloumirrors.net/fedora/development/SRPMS/x264-0.0.0-0.12.20080227.lvn9.src.rpm
and run rpmbuild --rebuild x264-0.0.0-0.12.20080227.lvn9.src.rpm. Install
the resulting x264 and x264-devel RPMs and then do the same for all
dependent apps.
