[x264-devel] --y4m-input patch

A while back Andy Carrel posted a patch to this list adding the "--y4m-input" option so that yuv4mpeg headers could be used when taking data from stdin. It looks as though discussion died out. If there was a statement that this feature wasn't something acceptable for x264 I missed it.

Would a patch along these general lines be considered for inclusion? If so, what changes, if any, would be required?
