[x264-devel] Reference frame selection

Hi All,
Is there any options where I can tell x264 to encode a frame using a
particular reference frame.

Think of a situation where I have a reference frame queue of 5 frames.
During encoding of n-th frame I decide to select reference frame n-3.
Is it possible to force n-th frame encoding using n-3 as reference frame.

If possible ca u give me hint of particular data stuctures and functions
where I can implement it?
