[x264-devel] x264 quality improvements?

Besides the weight-p patch, are there any other features that'll improve
compression efficiency coming this year? I'll be re-encoding my large
collection of videos soon for the last time. I've done it 3 times, and
they're not fun. I don't want to do it again (at least for a long time)
because the x264 developers did some black magic :) making x264 a lot more
efficient compression wise right after I finish, which happened 2 times.
