[x264-devel] constant bitrate commands at 200kbps

I've been trying to get the console encoder to stay at 200 kbps at not
deviate at all from that bitrate  what settings would you recommend if
you want to stay as strict to the bitrate as possible without any
deviation.

 

 

 

Would setting these allow what I want. What other settings should I set?

 

f_rate_tolerance  is ratecontrol?? Set this to 0.1 ?

i_qp_min  set to  15

i_qp_max set to 20

i_qp_step set to 2

 

and the bitrate as 200 kbps

 

since its 200 kbps and meant for phones, im trying any way I can to make
the stream stay at 200 without deviating from there. As right now I get
sometimes 400 on complex scenes, were I don't mind some pixilation I'd
rather it stay constant at 200 kbps .
