Just a side note:
Looking at this, I wouldn’t be surprised if your camcorder outputs interlaced 
video. If that is the case then it’s very likely that the bitrate explodes 
because you’re not handling that content appropriately, i.e. deinterlace it or 
encode it as interlaced.
